The Guidepost: A Natural Health Newsletter
July 2009

July is here now with its long, hot days.  It is the time of year to be getting out into the sun to stimulate your natural vitamin D production!  Actually, all times of the year are times to go out into the sun, but now is when you start building up your stores for winter.  Just like bears building up fat stores for hibernation, we need to build vitamin D levels up for the months of little direct sunlight.  Read the article below for more information.

Wellness Program coming!!
I have begun the planning process for a community wellness plan offered through our office.  This will consist of monthly hands-on classes such as cooking, herbs in the yard, herb walks in the forest, group cleanses, and weekend retreats among other things.  The purpose of such a program would be to provide education to people who could or would not otherwise see me at a regular office visit.  Many people do not need a visit but just need education.  I would like to be able to provide that education to reach more people at a more affordable cost while also making a living myself.  Please e-mail me by clicking on "e-mail me" and let me know if you are interested in this and also what type of classes or programs in which you would be interested.

Please forward this to anyone you think might be interested.  If you would like to subscribe to the newsletter, e-mail me and write “subscribe” in the subject line.
