Dr. Marty Ingram is a Naturopathic Doctor specializing in natural health care for women and their families. She received her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine with high honors from the National College of Natural Medicine in Portland, Oregon. In her practice, Dr. Marty has a special interest in helping patients overcome fatigue, stress, digestive complaints, allergies, and hormonal issues. She enjoys empowering her patients and helping them to regain vitality and balance. Born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska, Dr. Marty developed an early appreciation for the natural world. She then moved to Boulder, where she received her BA in French from the University of Colorado and spent her free time hiking in the mountains. Her junior year was spent abroad perfecting her French at the University of Bordeaux. Dr. Marty is also fluent in Spanish, and spent several years serving the Hispanic community in Portland at a naturopathic outreach clinic. While in medical school she maintained a busy part-time practice as a licensed massage therapist and worked as a hospice volunteer. She
and her
husband Dr. Glenn Ingram enjoy camping and exploring the outdoors,
looking for
medicinal plants. They also like to garden and prepare meals from the
bounty
they harvest. Other favorite hobbies include bike riding and swing
dancing. Dr.
Marty is a member of the American Association of Naturopathic
Physicians, as
well as the North Carolina Association of Naturopathic Physicians. |
